Terms & Conditions
of Collaboration
This document governs the entire commercial relationship between Akurea Studio and its Clients. Careful reading of all clauses is required prior to initiating any collaboration.
Introduction & Legal Status
Akurea Studio ("Studio", "we") is an independent provider of custom digital infrastructure, specializing in designing, developing, and delivering high-performance web solutions for legal entities or sole proprietors ("Client"). Accessing akurea.ro, using the cost calculator, or submitting any contact form constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
Calculator Status & Offer Validity (14 Days)
Budget calculator figures are indicative. Once a formal quote is issued by Akurea Studio, the price and production calendar slot are guaranteed for 14 calendar days.
Payments, Advance Policy (50%) & Delivery Term (10 Business Days)
All accepted projects require a non-refundable 50% deposit. The deposit marks official project start (Day 0) and triggers the 10 business days staging delivery countdown. Custom digital products are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
Intellectual Property — Critical Clause
Source code, technical architecture, visual design, databases, business logic, and technical documentation created by the Studio remain the exclusive intellectual property of Akurea Studio until final invoice payment is confirmed in full.
Revisions & Scope Changes
Each project phase includes maximum 3 major revision rounds. Minor content tweaks are not counted against this limit. Scope additions require a separate contract.
Abandonment & Non-Response Clause
Projects with no feedback or requested materials for 30 consecutive calendar days will be deemed abandoned, archived, and deposits retained as capacity loss compensation.
Client Obligations
The Client agrees to provide final corrected text, licensed visual assets, third-party credentials within 5 business days, and a single designated contact with decision authority.
Limitation of Liability
Studio is not liable for third-party service outages (Vercel, Netlify, AWS, Stripe), indirect damages, or post-handover browser/OS breaking changes. Maximum liability is capped at total project value paid.
Portfolio Rights
Akurea Studio reserves the irrevocable right to showcase completed projects in its public portfolio. Clients requiring strict confidentiality may request a commercial NDA prior to contract signing.
Jurisdiction & Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Romanian law. Disputes unresolved via amicable negotiation within 30 days shall be settled by competent courts in Bucharest, Romania.
Technical Warranty & Post-Launch Tweaks
Includes 7 days of complimentary minor content tweaks post-launch and a 30-day technical warranty for bug fixes in Studio code. New pages or architectural overhauls require a separate quote.
